How to Clean the Screen of Flat Screen TV

After spending a large amount of money to buy a nice flat screen TV, the most important thing you want to do is maintain and care for these objects.

There is a proper method to remove dust, fingerprints, and grime from your flat screen TV. Avoid the most common cleaning products because they, apparently, can damage the screen. After that, follow the steps below are correct.

Things you need:

- Soft fabrics.
- Cleaning fluid.

First, turn off the TV and unplug from the wall socket. In addition to safety, the TV is turned off lets you see the stains and dirt better.

Secondly, you can clean the TV screen with warm water or cleaning solution. If you are cleaning with cleaning products, check the label, make sure the fluid is formulated for "Laptop Screen" or "LCD Screen". In addition, there is also a product along with a special cleaning cloth.

Third, moisten a soft cloth (select material chamois, micro fiber, or 100 percent cotton) with warm water or cleaning solution. Wipe the screen gently. Rubbing or scrubbing with hard pressure will only damage the screen.

Fourth, clean the dust off the TV and the screen on a regular basis. Excessive dust can damage electronic devices.

Hint!

- Do not spray cleaner directly on the screen. This can lead to leaks in the TV casing and damage the circuitry. Always apply the cleaner to the cloth in a small amount first.

- Never use strong chemical cleaners such as alcohol, ammonia, or window cleaner. This product is not safe to use on a flat screen TV.

- Do not change the cleaning cloth with a paper towel or newspaper on your screen. These materials are wood products and can scratch the screen.
